    About the Game

In our new game 5 More Minutes, you play as the guardian angel of a young child trying to get just 5 more minutes of sleep. There are many threats to those last few moments of slumber - both in the realm of the living and the realm of dreams. To successfully guard the child, the player must juggle the mundane responsibilities of turning off alarm clocks in the real world with fighting off the child's nightmares in the world of dreams. But beware - each time an alarm clock is shut off, the nightmares spawn sooner and the clocks tick down ever so slightly faster.

We offer two game modes - an endless mode and a story mode. In endless mode, you continually fight against the nightmarish horde for as long as you can, with only a few breaks to rest and upgrade along the way. But don't forget about the alarm clocks - they cannot ring for long, or the child will be woken up too soon!

In story mode, you can watch as the child ages, and observe as the nature of his nightmares change along with him. Watch as new nightmares appear - nightmares that reflect the growing child's experiences with bullying, self-image, and toxic work culture. These kinds of nightmares will not be so easy to defeat, but there will always be a way to best them, even if that means waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

Why not take 5 minutes and give 5 More Minutes a try?

About the Team

Armanc Keser - Lead Artist

Lead artist, though he may be, Armanc had yet to touch art before this project. He is a freshman at Tufts University, and a proud international student from Eastern Turkey. He is a double major in Computer Science & Cognitive and Brain Sciences. He discovered his interest in programming back in high school, and all of his friends and family were sure that he was going to become a programmer because of all the time he spent on the computer. His interest in CBS was discovered only at Tufts, and he believes it is the science of the future. He studied at Robert College in Istanbul for his high-school and lived in Van, Turkey - his hometown - for all his life. He has designed most of the visual art in the game and is hoping that you will find his work decent. He also thanks you for taking your time to read his bio!

William Scott - Lead Programmer

A self-proclaimed code monkey and trivia nerd, William loves traveling, learning new things, solving interesting problems, philosophizing about the universe, and writing cheesy biographies about himself in the third person.  You can also catch him going for a run or complaining about the New England weather (but probably not both at the same time!). He was on Jeopardy in April 2018, and he’s overjoyed to have won some money, met a bunch of fascinating people, and found something to say when people ask for a fun fact.

Yekwon Park - Asset Integration Manager

Yekwon Park is a Computer Science major in the School of Engineering at Tufts University. His two favorite games are FIFA and League of Legends, in which he had troubles getting over his addictions for them. Besides games, his other interests include sports - both playing and watching - like soccer, basketball, and baseball, watching movies, and coding. He is excited about Five More Minutes and proud of all the work his team put together!

Robert Goodfellow - Lead Sound Designer

Though a programmer by profession, Robert Goodfellow is an award-winning jazz guitarist and has recently become one of the top 2% of chess players worldwide. He graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, and is now working full time at Arista Networks. He enjoys tackling hard problems and optimizing code as much as he enjoys trying to find the perfect music to suit the mood of an occasion. He is the creator of the background music of every level in the game, and also the webmaster of this website. He sincerely hopes you enjoy his hard work, and is proud to be part of the 5 More Minutes Team!
